Are you tired of just getting through the day and wondering if this is just what motherhood feels like now?

  • You used to be able to handle everything before motherhood. Now the smallest things set you off and you don't understand why.

  • You're physically present for dinner, for bedtime, for all the little moments you want to remember. But your mind is always somewhere else.

  • You love your kids more than anything. And somewhere in the middle of becoming their mom, you lost track of yourself. You miss who you used to be.

  • You’re constantly googling, messaging the pediatrician, and consulting AI because you can't shake the feeling that something is wrong with your baby.

  • You've been having intrusive thoughts that really freak you out. You don't understand why your brain goes there, and you're exhausted from carrying that alone.

  • Your entry into motherhood was nothing like you imagined. And even though things are okay now, you can't stop replaying how it all went down. You want to move forward, but your body and your mind haven't gotten the memo yet.

Does this sound familiar?

You're ready to do something about it.

And you're looking for a therapy experience that feels deeper than just venting. You want to make meaningful change so you can actually feel better.

You want to feel less overwhelmed, less like you're living on high alert, just waiting for the next thing to go wrong.

You want to stop panicking every time something unexpected happens and trust that you can handle it.

When people tell you that you're a good mom, you want to believe it. You want to feel it in your bones.

You want to feel like yourself again. You want to trust that you can handle whatever motherhood brings next.

And let’s be honest, you're not new to this. You're insightful, self-aware, maybe even a few therapy stints in. You know your patterns, you understand yourself. But knowing isn’t enough right now.

What's been missing is a therapy experience that actually moves the needle. One that creates results you can feel.
In your nervous system, in your relationships, in your motherhood.

You’re in the right place!

Hi, I'm Jen Mendoza.

I’m a therapist for moms. And I'm also a mom who's been there.

I've navigated the anxiety, the hard seasons, and the unexpected experience of raising a child with medical needs. There were times where I looked fine on the outside and was quietly falling apart on the inside.

But I did the work. And I found my way to a motherhood that feels full and joyful, even though it looked nothing like I planned.
Whatever your story looks like, it's an honor to help you do the same.

I'm the kind of therapist who meets you where you are without judgment. I'll honor how you're choosing to do motherhood, from your birth choices to your parenting style. I'm here for all of it.

In our work together we go beneath the surface. The anxiety, the guilt, the spiral, the experiences that were so hard they're still living in your body.

We'll use evidence-based approaches that work at the level where this stuff actually lives. Not just in your thoughts. In your body.

You'll feel the difference in how you move through your days. Less reactive. More present.

And more like the mom you actually want to be. Not just the one who's barely holding it together.

  • Together we can calm the fears, build your confidence, and prepare you for a birth and postpartum experience rooted in trust and connection.

“I am a pediatric physical therapist and I have had mutual clients with Jen. She’s such a gift to her clients and families that she services! I hear such amazing feedback from our mutual clients. She helps her clients to make progress while also helping them to feel validated and safe during their sessions.

From a clinical perspective, she has so much education and experience treating moms who have experienced birth trauma, NICU stays, and postpartum anxiety. She uses EMDR which is a really powerful tool to reset the nervous system to get her clients to feel more regulated and be more present with their families.

I highly suggest Jen to all my clients in my practice!!!”

“Jen is a rare and gifted therapist—especially for mothers navigating postpartum anxiety, birth trauma, or the quiet unraveling that can happen after bringing a baby into the world. She brings both clinical skill and a deeply maternal presence to her work. It’s the kind of care that helps women breathe again, reconnect to themselves, and feel less alone in the hardest parts of motherhood.

As a colleague and fellow maternal mental health therapist, I trust her completely. I feel so confident sending mothers to her for EMDR therapy and postpartum support so they can feel safe, understood, and gently guided. If you’re seeking a therapist who truly gets the emotional landscape of postpartum, Jen is someone I recommend with my whole heart.”
